My training included therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, to Person-centred approaches which all form part of my approach with clients.

My Master's degree focused on the value of facilitation on children with special needs, This research explored the potential strengths and weaknesses the intervention had within a unique school within the South African context compared to international standards. While my honours research surrounded trauma and sexual abuse of female perpetrators.

Prior to opening my practice, I worked as a special needs learning support therapist and specialist art educator at a remedial primary school catering to mild to moderate students with special needs as well as an educator within a private high school.

In addition, I am also a qualified Fine Artist and have competed as a Latin American dancer. During my artistic training, I honoured both in Fine Art and Digital Art. Within my work as a psychologist, I enjoy using and have a specific interest in using artistic mediums (art and movement) to assist individuals to understand their emotions.

My specific mediums include photography, videography, casting, sculpture, mixed media artworks as well as the immersive qualities of graphics within gaming and animation.
